During the summer we take a break from our weekly meditation at the Buddhist Temple.
Join us for meditation and practices outside in the beautiful Lethbridge river bottom as we cultivate a deeper connection between ourselves and this precious planet we call home.

Join Vickie and the Dawning Light Sangha for a morning of practice together. Learn simple meditation practices to calm the body and clear the mind. Share in a welcoming and inclusive community to learn and support your meditation practice.
While inspired by the universal truth of the Buddhist teachings of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh, we are an inclusive group open to people of all faiths and traditions. We practice sitting meditation, walking meditation, breathing practices and deep relaxation. We also provide time for connecting and sharing together, to help foster community. Meditation is offered free of charge from the generosity of our hearts. However, in the Buddhist spirit of “dana”, please feel free to contribute as you are able to support the Dawning Light Sangha and the Buddhist Temple of Southern Alberta.
